The Deputy Minister of Water and Soil Affairs of the Ministry of Jihad-Agriculture said: We have a very good capacity to use green water (rain) in rainforests, on which the water, soil and agriculture sectors can work on a comprehensive plan.
The Deputy Minister of Water and Soil Affairs of the Ministry of Jihad-Agriculture stated: We are in a dry and semi-arid country, and this trend of rainfall is normal in countries like Iran, so water resources are still at risk, and our approach should be micro-pressurized irrigation.
Akbari, in regard to the design of irrigation and drainage networks in the west and northwest of the country, pointed out that: In order to receive funding for the design of irrigation and drainage networks in the west and northwest of the country, we have planned a memorandum of understanding in 2020 to use rainwater in different parts of the country for agriculture.
