The head of the Caspian Sea Sturgeon International Research Institute said: achievement of the technical knowledge of producing caviar from sturgeon in breeding conditions, caviar production from breeding sturgeon, caviar extraction from Siberian sturgeon (Acipenser baerii) in Iran’s weather conditions, have been some of our institute’s new contributions.
According to the information center of the ministry of Jihad-Agriculture, quoted by IRNA, Maryam Fallahi A, at a day-long ceremony aimed at presenting quantitative and qualitative strategies for the production of Babian sturgeon, stating that in the ceremony some of the achievements of the International Caspian Sturgeon Research Institute will be unveiled, said that: native and proprietary probiotic of sturgeon, whole female fish, hybrid production have been some of the achievements of this institute in the field of sturgeon.
She also added that management and organization of the live duckling gene bank and genetic resources have been parts of the institute’s achievements in recent years, also added that: Modeling and introducing a new pattern of ecosystem regulation and genetic management, preventing the reduction of genetic diversity, preventing genetic diseases and genetic defects, improving the quantity and quality of sex cells and increasing the reproductive and reproductive efficiency of native sturgeon, and ultimately contributing to the sustainable development of sturgeon aquaculture were other achievements of the research institute.
