Javad Vafa-Bakhsh, Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Ministry of Jihad-Agriculture of the Islamic Republic of Iran, who traveled to Serbia, mentioned that the purpose of the visit of the delegation of the Ministry of Jihad-Agriculture of Iran was to identify the capacities and facilities for the development and promotion of cooperation and interaction between the two countries in the fields of agriculture, animal husbandry, forestry and water management.

The Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Ministry of Jihad-Agriculture of Iran had a meeting with Branislav Nadimovic, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Irrigation of Serbia. He also met representatives of the Turkovic Meat and Dairy Products Company.

Visiting the Faculty of Agriculture of the University of Belgrade and the Faculty of Agriculture of the University of Novi Sad, and visiting a meat industry company were among the visits of the delegation of the Ministry of Jihad- Agriculture of our country during a week trip to Serbia

The Islamic Republic of Iran and Serbia have good capacities to increase cooperation in various fields, including agriculture, industry, mining, construction, energy, petrochemicals, cultural and artistic affairs, sports and tourism. In the meeting, officials of the two countries emphasized the interest in expanding bilateral cooperation.
