Head of FRWO in the meeting with Chairman of Iran National Space and Advanced Transportation Administration of Vice-Presidency for Science and Technology emphasized the use of innovation and new technology in Natural Resources Management.

According to FRWO's website, Dr. Masoud Mansour, Deputy Minister and Head of FRWO met and conferred with Dr. Manouchehr Manteghi, Chairman of Iran National Space and Advanced Transportation Administration of Vice-Presidency for Science and Technology on conservation of natural resource and development of protective cover in order to reduce the destructive effects of variable agents on natural resources by new technologies in a meeting held at FRWO Headquarters on Tuesday.

In this meeting, Dr. Manteghi visited the Center for Early Warning and Monitoring of Natural Resources (CEWMNR) of FRWO and reiterated that necessary action should be taken within joint cooperation program to expand CEWMNR.

It is notable that CEWMNR comprises of the reconnaissance control system of natural resources, emergency 139 telephone lines, satellite- based monitoring system, digital wireless system and fire warning and monitoring system in forests and rangelands including land -use changes.
